About

Jez Fang is a Taiwan-based sound artist, field recordist and sensory experience designer. His practice spans environmental recording, sound composition, live performance and participatory projects, with an ongoing focus on rivers, forests, oceans, urban margins and the sonic relationships embedded in everyday life.

His work has been presented through X-site at the Taipei Fine Arts Museum, the Yangmingshan Experimental Mountain House and the Chiayi Asayama Wild Art Action. He has collaborated with the Kuroshio Ocean Education Foundation, local communities, researchers and artists across disciplines. He is also the founder and artistic director of Whitemoon, where selected artistic methods are translated into shared sensory experiences for people, organisations and spaces.
